Today is my last day in San Diego. I am so excited for my upcoming adventure it's too hard to put into words. I've had a great last few days at the beach and at my house with friends; San Diego has been as beautiful as always. Tonight I'll be having my last dinner at the Station with my family and with the DePerros so I can say goodbye to Anne, Rob and of course Jonah.
Today has been a little crazy considering my connecting flight to Chicago appeared to have been cancelled early this morning but thankfully it's all okay now. I have a lot of packing to do still but I'm trying to squeeze in one last venture to Lolitas to get the last Mexican food I'll have for four months. At least I can replace my everlasting desire for a carne asada burrito with some authentic Italian food in the coming months.
My flight from SD to Chicago is at 6 AM tomorrow so this will probably be my last post before I get to Italy. Take care everybody, I'll see you on the other side.
